Mukhtar Ahmad, born 12.10.1989

Mukhtar was spoken to on the streets when he was six years old by one of our co-workers who noticed that he was absolutely dissolute and filthy. He is the youngest of eleven children, his father has passed away, his mother works as a house maid. Nobody had ever taken care of him. His English is above average as he attends an English Medium School where the language of instruction is English. He is also very open-minded and tries to communicate with all of the English speaking guests from Germany. He still has nickname which is "dustbin", although there is nobody at the hostel who is more hygiene conscious than he is.
